Für den von mir gezahlten Preis hätte ich mehr erwartet, zumal ich fast deutsche Preise gezahlt habe. Das Zimmer selber war sauber, aber die Klimaanlage ist ein lautes mobiles Gerät und das inkludierte Frühstück ist ein Witz. Die Armaturen im Bad wackeln wie ein Lämmerschwanz und generell ist das Zimmer nach lateinamerikanischen Standards renoviert worden (überall kleiner Pfusch). Wenn das Zimmer günstiger gewesen wäre, wäre ich zufriedener gewesen. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut und in Laufdistanz befindet sich eine große Einkaufsmall und mehrere kleinere Supermärkte.

Schönes, sauberes Hotel mit kostenlosem Flughafen-Shuttle. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotelrestaurant bietet gutes Essen und gute Preise. Transfer zum Flughafen dauert 10-20 Minuten, je nach Verkehr. Für Übernachtungen vom Flughafen aus zu empfehlen.

Man gelangt in ca. 30 Fußminuten ins Zentrum. Es bietet ausreichend Komfort für einen Stadtaufenthalt. Je nach Miturlaubern kann es allerdings auch sehr hellhörig sein. Sehr schön ist der Pool auf dem Dach.

Ich kann dieses Hotel nur empfehlen. Es liegt direkt am Zocalo (Centro Historico), ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für eine Besichtigungstour in Mexiko D.F. Die Kathedrale, der Templo Mayor und der Palacio National liegen quasi vor der Hoteltüre. Die Zimmer sind ruhig und sehr sauber. Das Servicepersonal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Tollste ist ein mexikanisches Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse des Hotels mit Blick auf die Kathedrale und das Treiben auf dem Zocalo. Wir waren schon öfter hier um ein Wochende in der Stadt zu verbringen. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

"hotel stay during earthquake on April 11"
I was staying at the hotel, 9th floor, when the earthquake hit. I did not see any visible signs to instruct guests on how to proceed or where to go. I thought this very dangerous, especially since Mexico City gets rocked every now and then. Neither did the alarms go off nor anyone on the speakers to let people know what to do.
"Excellent Location - No air conditioning"
As a frequent traveler I am used to a standard of quality for Sheraton Hotels. I am very easy going, and this is the very first time that I post a negative review on a Hotel. The Maria Isabel Sheraton used to be known as one the best hotels in Mexico City. Its location is fantastic and the service from the staff remains excellent. My last stay (April […] 2012) was very uncomfortable because the A/C in the room was not working properly. The staff offered to "upgrade" me to a suite with allegedly better A/C, but I was supposed to pay the difference. The staff offered us to switch rooms and we visited about 5 other available rooms, all of which had the same problem - barely A/C. They sent a technician to the room and one of the surprises was that the A/C in the rooms have no air filter, so everything inside the air-handler is very filled of dust/pollen/hair/etc and that explains why the A/C don't work correctly. The technician explained to us that they no longer use filters in the room A/Cs!!! The airflow was minimum because of all of the dirt in the air-handler. Since we had prepaid, and didn't want to go through the hassle of locating another hotel, we decided to stay, otherwise, we would have switched. I wish corporate Sheraton would realize that it is time to upgrade the A/C systems in the hotel. If anybody feels A/C is important, then this hotel will not be comfortable for you. Mehr

I was staying at another hotel in Zona Rosa, when I got the flu (fever included) and needed some place more comfortable and with central heating. The Sheraton Maria Isabel was perfect. Our stay was outstanding.Kudos to the great service the bellboys do. They work very hard and should be commended. The hotel taxi drivers do a great job also.

Great location, the front desk staff is very slow, and have some issues when you dispute some charges. Lots of places to go for dinner, to buy drinks (water, soft drinks, etc), Also ATM are only 1 block away (next door to the US Embassy). Good location. Very clean. Bathrooms are dated. They load you up with extra charges for things like: - In- room internet access (Although they give you 30 minutes free in the lobby.) - Using the fitness center. - A 20% "service charge" (this is not the server's tip) on food ordered in the lobby lounge.

"Mexico City - Million Dollar Tephone Calls"
This place amazes me. I have traveled extensively and have never seen such gouging., anywhere in the 48 countries I have visited. A phone call from Mexico Sheraton Maria Isabel room to USA -- brace yourseves -- 6-7 dollars per minute for each minute of the first 15 minutes, 1-2 dollars for each additional minute. I spoke for 22 minutes and it cost over […] $100...(two days in a row). I a time when you can place calls for pennies a minute, this hotel charges rates higher than those originally charged by Alexander Graham Bell to use the original phone!!! Shame on you Sheraton..... Otherwise a great place, Luckily I don't believe that these phone rates are typical for other Sheraton properties around the world. It's probably cheaper to place a call from the space shuttle back to earth.... Mehr

Mto bom o Hotel. Serviço muito bom, café da manhã de muito bom nível. Ficou a desejar o arranjo da festa de fim de ano. Venderam tantas posições para a festa que o ambiente ficou desconfortável, apertado e o ar condicionado sem conseguir vencer a carga térmica. Mas recomendo. O Staff é atencioso e procura atender suas demandas.

Hotel muito bem localizado na região da Reforma, fácil acesso à Condesa, Roma, Polanco e o Centro Histórico, praticamente fiz os passeios todos a pé. O Staff foi muito prestativo e o quarto estava em boas condições. A internet é paga à parte, mas uma dica é acessar a internet no lobby que é gratuita por algum tempo. Definitivamente este hotel supera las expectativas del viajero en cuanto a servicio todos son muy amables y te resuelven hasta el mas minimo problema, no tienes que molestarte para nada ellos se encargan de consentirte, lo que le falta al hotel es mantenimiento ya que esta viejo y las alfombras del lobby estan muy maltratadas, en cuento al cuarto excelente […] la cama, alfombra tele todo y una excelente ubicacion. Tem um outro buffet ao lado do hotel (Sanborns) que é bem razoável e custa a metade. Além do Starbucks, que fica dentro do hotel. É bem localizado (fica a uns 500m da estação do metro- INSURGENTES. A única crítica, fica por […] conta da desonestidade do serviço de cabeleleiro que ocupa um espaço no hotel. Agendou um serviço de escova (brushing) p/ minha esposa por M$ 250,00 (duzentos e cinquenta pesos mexicanos) e depois do serviço pronto, cobrou M$ 487,00 quase o dobro.Pura picaretagem. Não quero botar essa rapinagem na conta do hotel, mas aviso aos viajantes para procurarem esse serviço fora do hotel, pois existem vários salões nas proximidades. Mehr

Las instalaciones, a pesar de que están al 100% muestran un poco de vejez, falta de renovación, sin embargo no es un punto grave ya que todo funcionaba muy bien. El check-out se realizó rápido y sin problema alguno. MUY BIEN!
