Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfreich. Das Zimmer war sauber mit extra abgetrennten Bad und Duschmöglichkeit in der Wanne. Die Übernachtung war inkl. Frühstück. Entgegen vorheriger Bewertungen war es ausgiebig. Man konnte wählen zwischen, Muffin, Beagles, Toast mit Toaster, Waffeln zum selber machen, Obstauswahl, genügent Aufstrich wie versch. Marmeladen und Sirup, zwei versch. Kaffesorten (normal und entkoffeniert) und Saft aus dem Automaten. Alles als free refill. Wer eine Stadtrundfahrt machen möchte kann sich an der Rezeption melden. Von dort kann eine Stadtrundfahrt mit Abholung vom Hotel organisert werden. Also besser geht es gr nicht. Ich kann nur jeden dieses Hotel empfehlen. Würde jederzeit sofort doert wieder übernachten. Volle Punktzahl. Einziger kleiner Abstrich ist die örtl. Umgebung. Auf den ersten Blick sieht die Umgebung etwas ungemütlich aus, aber wenn man daran denkt, das es nicht gerade die Innenstadt ist geht es in Ordnung. Ca. 5 Min Fußweg gibt es zwei Fastfood Restaurants und genau gegenüber ist ein großer (mexikanischer) Supermarkt. Alles in ereichbarer Nähe.

Ich war mit einem Bekannten für 7 Tage in dem Motel. Sehr netter Empfang. Absolut problemlos. Erster Eindruck wurde während des gesamten Aufenthaltes bestätigt. Frühstück mit frischen warmen Haferflocken, frisches Rührei, gekochte Eier, Waffeln zum selbstbacken, Müsli, Säfte, Obst, Kaffee, Tee, ... -kurzum, für amerikanische Motelverhältnisse absolut super und ausreichend. Das richtige für den Start in den Tag. Lage: ca. 15 Minuten Fussmarsch zum Venicebeach, 5 Minuten zum Hafen von Marina, 15 Minuten zum Harleyverleih am Lincoln- Boulevard, Tiefgaragenparkplätze kostenlos, Zimmer sauber und frisch renoviert -unseres zumindest- Personal immer freundlich, kleiner Pool und Spa zur Erfrischung/ Entspannung, Innenhof mit Sitzmöglichkeiten und Gaskamin, für uns jederzeit wieder 1. Wahl für L.A. Aufenthalte!!!!!!!!!

In dieser für ihren Smog bekannten Stadt sorgt der Griffith Park für das dringend erforderliche Grün. Nicht weit davon entfernt befindet sich auch der Flughafen Burbank, der eine Alternative zum Flughafen Los Angeles darstellt.

"Neu renoviert aber alte Basis"
Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage, wenn man in den Hollywood Studios tätig ist oder in dieser Umgebung seinen Urlaub verbringen möchte. Die Renovierung des Hotels ist gelungen, die Zimmer und die Hotelfacilities sind sehr schön gestaltet und auch sauber. Leider ist die Basis des Hotels weiterhin alt und das macht ich in der mangelden Isolierung der […] Zimmer bemerkbar. Man hört jedes Wort aus dem Nachbarzimmer und die Toilettenspülung ist durchgängig zu hören. Mit ein paar Ohropax ist das Problem zwar gelöst, aber leider doch ein Nachteil. "Convenient location and nice staff"
Room was clean and comfortable, but the cleaning staff needs to pay attention to the little details to further improve. For example the air vent in the bathroom had mildew although the rest of the bathroom was very clean. The front desk staff were very friendly.
Good trip, had fun. Definitely do it again!!!!

Universal studios has lots to offer for a weekend. This hotel is just a 10 min walk from the city walk. I would stay here again. The staff is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Hope you have as much fun as we did

Clean, comfortable room. Easy access to the freeway and metro station. Universal just up the hill with free shuttle pickup throughout the day. Staff was absolutely great.
Pretty good, aside from non smoking room that smells like a cigarette , then requested transfer & granted.. It was pleasant
We stayed for 2 days and the second day the hotel forgot to clean our room. We returned from universal studios very tired and had to wait around for them to clean it. The hotel mang Holly was unpleasant, however she did give us free breakfast.
Will never book there again. I will also not recommend it to anyone.

"Convenience not worth the price"
Won't ever stay at this hotel again. Should not be calling itself a Sheraton. Room was very small for a King. Maintance was not up to par. Vomit in the stairwell was left for two days. Staff put a cone over to warn guests but never cleaned it the entire time we were guests. Convenient if you were going to Universal Studios or City Walk. Would spend […] the extra few dollars to stay at the place next door. Mehr

Room was very nice and comfortable. The only issues, was the long line for check in, towels for two when reserved for a family of four and the toilet that didn't flush.

Over all a very nice stay. Very slow with bellman to room for checkout and valet to get car to you. Other than that great.

Very pleased with the hotel's location, parking garage and a free shuttle( that picks up/drops off right in front of hotel) to Universal Studios and City Walk. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Shuttle would be nice to run a little later than 9pm...we had dinner at City Walk that took over two hours and had to hustle to make shuttle, very minor though […] and I recommend staying here. Mehr

From Valet, to check in, to any questions, and bar service that evening I could not have asked for better service. After a full day at the near by theme park it was a treat coming back to this hotel to rest, change, and we were going to go out but it was so nice in the hotel we spent the entire evening there having a great meal and amazing, friendly […] bar service. The only thing missing from the room that I would have appreciated was a refrigerator. I stayed at a much less expensive (and FAR from nice) hotel two nights earlier that had both a refrigerator and microwave included. Go figure. All in all a GREAT place to stay if you want to be within walking distance of Universal Studios/City Walk. You get what you […] pay for, (well...except for a fridge), so, as you'd expect for the price, it's very clean, comfortable and convenient. Mehr

Great location, clean rooms and great service. Hotel staff was very accommodating. My reservation was lost and because it took so long to check in I was upgraded for my troubles. Also has a great bar in the hotel.

"Run Down Hotel... Not worthy of the sheridan name"
I used to stay at this hotel all the time on business a couple of years ago. It was the premium hotel in the area. Now it is a run down, poorly maintained and run place. When I got to my original room the air conditioning sounded like it was going to rattle itself to death, so they moved me to a different room. When I got to the new room I had to […] call housekeeping and have them service the room. There was someone elses hair in the sing, and the sheets looked like someone had been in them. I got a room on the upper floors so I can have a nice view. The windows were filthy. I tried to call the manager to discuss the problems with him, I got put on hold and after waiting 20 minutes I just gave up. Very sad. I will not stay here again, Mehr

Nice because it is close to Universal Studios. Uncomfortable beds, noisy freeway sounds made it hard to sleep. Won't be back, would recommend the Hilton over this place.

"broken doors"
The hotel was in a perfect location for Universal Studios, but the room we were given was next to the parking lot and the best part of it was the door to the balcony was broken, we couldn't close it, we felt a little unsafe. The service was not that great, we were given the wrong directions to the room, we asked another worker and still ended up lost, […] we eventually tracked down a maid. That night we had to help a young man off the floor and help guide him to his room just around the corner from our on our way back in, he was so drunk. The experience could have been much better, if we received a decent room and a little more quality service so that we could have found the room the 1st time. Mehr

"Super comfortable room"
I got to the hotel early and was able to get into my room early. Because it was my birthday and there was room, the desk clerk upgraded me (and my son). She was really super nice and courteous. We had a very nice room and extremely comfortable. The hotel was right next to Universal Studios so we spent the day taking tours, rides, and walking around. […] We were so tired, we took the hotel courtesy bus back to the hotel. Yes, the hotel does charge for parking. Mehr

Stayed at the Sheraton on New Years Eve, Great Experience! Within easy walking distance from City Walk. Hotel staff was welcoming and the room was very clean. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

"Hotel was ok but banquet beware"
We stayed on new yrs eve and of course the hotel was packed. There was a new yrs eve ball going on, with most guests dressed in formal attire. We were standing by the shuttle waiting area/smoking area when we noticed behind us, if u look down below, it leads to some kind of kitchen entryway leading to the ballroom. There was a cart full of dinner rolls […] uncovered that was sitting there for almost half an hour , and the smokers standing up on top did not notice what was down below. There were a number of smokers standing there all flicking their ashes away directly down towards the exposed dinner rolls. All of a sudden, the door swings open and out come these 2 waiters taking the cart of bread inside to the ballroom, my husband and I yelled "are you seriously going to serve that?" and they looked up at us but did not reply, and just proceeded to go in. That was pretty disgusting! We told the valet guys and all they said was that they will report it. , we also told the front desk upon checkout. Mehr

"Sheraton Universal- LA"
Very convenient for the Universal studios, Beverley Hills and Holliwood attractions. The concierge was excellent wealth of information about the area and downtown LA. The staff were very helpful, a rarety these days, pleasing to encounter. The hotel facilities are very good.

"Sheraton Universal Hotel Los Angeles- ideal choice"
I thought that this hotel was exceptional value for money given its star rating and location. The rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. The hotel is ideally situated, not only for Universal Studios but also for acess to all the other tourist sites, whether by freeway, or the smaller less busy roads. The staff were friendly and given the Concierge's […] directions, no GPS navigation system was needed whenever we went anywhere. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would readily stay there again. Mehr
