Hotel liegt direkt am Sandstrand. Restaurants, Bar und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind sehr gut zu Fuss zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet und das Personal freundlich.

Great hotel with a great history, the hotelwas former Yankee clapper. The rooms need to be a little bit upgraded, but they were very clean.

Loved this hotel! Staff super friendly and helpful. Gorgeous pool and beach. One of few places where you don't have to cross the highway to get to the beach. Excellent amenities, like poolside bar and grill. Room very clean and large. Will definitely be back!

This hotel's main section is aging and substandard. The walls are thin and the rooms are noisy, the wind blows through the heater system. You need to get the new hotel sections to get a decent room.

Great beach---loved the availability of beach chairs and umbrellas. Staff was excellent. Beds very comfortable, rooms could use some updating.

The hotel is on the beach but only one building (the Beach Building!) is actually close to the water, so ask for that building if you must be as close as possible. Also, that building has the prettiest pool, an infinity pool with a nice patio and bar for enjoying coffee, lunch, or cocktails. This was a great hotel but in a very busy area. Hotel is older but room was very nice with an great bed.Pool was very warm and the beach is great! Very close to airport---convenient!

great location, great beach. beautiful infinity pool. good beachside food at bar. Staff at coffee bar were not the most friendly when asking for breakfast tea!Bordeline insulting to our country. Also concierge were extremely unhelpful when I asked to borrow the scales to weigh our luggage-saying our bag weighed 16kg when it was actually 27kg!they were […] awkward-made us drag our luggage all the way down and re pack in the lobby because other people had not returned the scale on previous occasions-this was all after reception told us they would send them up to our room straight away! Staff at reception were pleasant and welcoming. room itself was old and in need of refurbishment. we had balcony ocean view-nice but very old. food in bar at beach pool lovely. good facilities. internet free in lobby, 9.95 in room per device. car park 20 dollars per day. Customer service excellent my room was awful the very willingly upgraded me unfortunately that room also was a dump.

Everything was great just disappointed that there was only pay wifi in room. 10 per day and parking 20 per day if you park yourself. 25 if you valet

Location of the hotel is perfect, right on Ft. Lauderdale beach, however, its quite a walk to other restaurants or venues. We were there mid-January and - surprise - no heat in any rooms in the hotel. This was not addressed previous to our booking cause who would think no heat. Great location next to beach, OK pools. Beach tower with direct beach access. Building would need some refurbishment. Location bit distant - but wálking distance to nearby shops and restaurants. Lobby area can get croweded and not many things to do.

Very comfortable hotel on the beach, on site mexican restaurant was excellent, great guacamole. Valet service very quick, excellent room service breakfast, beautiful pool overlooking beach.

The Hotel is older but seemed to be well kept. One of my favorite things about this hotel was because it was older and had older water pipes the water pressure for the shower was really nice. Not like more modern where you seem to be just sprinkled on. I also really thought the bed was comfortable. It had a really nice, soft, thick comforter.

I chose this hotel based on location & price. I found it to be welcoming and clean. Right on the beach and our room was better than expected as far as location, they gave us ocean front corner with floor to ceiling windows. The only problem was no balcony and there were alot of little kids running around which my husband & I do not have little kids. […] It made the pool extremely loud as well as lobbys and hallways. Great family hotel but not great if your looking for quiet and romantic. I would stay there again in a pinch. We stayed only one night while visiting family in town. Thanks Lisa Mehr

The hotel and the room was clean and check in was a breeze, but housekeeping was annoying. I don't understand why they kept trying to enter a locked room so early in the morning. They were so loud they woke my wife and she told them numerous times to leave. I suspect there was a language problem. It wasn't until the supervisor showed up and told them […] to go to the NEXT floor did they get a clue. I also wasn't pleased about the $20 parking fee. Mehr

We stayed here for 1 night post cruise. Hotel is older but was very clean. Had a great view of the beach and free loungers on the beach were great. Pool was clean and servers were available at the pool or beach.Staff was very helpful but with no car it was a bit of a walk even to a convenience store. Would definitely stay again!

Got upgraded to a suite upon arrival...It was a pleasant surprise and a nice room with 360 views of the beach & the city. The front desk staff were very helpful and so where the bell staff. Parking was right across the street & connected by skyway to the main bldg. Private, clean Beach . Will definetly come back again.

The hotel met our needs well. The only improvement would be a re-design of the bathroom. There was no space to set anything down or to hang up the towel, which made it very incovenient.

Pros: Very well located and as travelling in family, the room on the beach tower was exceptionally good with a view on the ocean. Cons: you have to pay very expensive wireless connection from the room (note there is a business center with free access although).

When you pay a fortune for these 4/5 star hotels, you expect a service that is on par with the fee that is charged. However, I was extremely disappointed with the service - we booked a room at the Sheraton hoping to spend a romantic night. We were extremely disappointed at the size of the room - the room was also very very dusty - there was dust in […] the glasses/ in the coffee maker/ on the remote control - you name it and everything had DUST on it. The remote control did not work, some of the light switches did not work - do not mean to be picky here, but hey, when they charge me for a 4/5 star service, I'd definitely expect it!! And to top it off, I had to pay a 20$/day parking fee!! The next morning I explained the problems with the room to the front desk rep while checking out - she asked why I had not called after inspecting the room!! We checked in pretty late in the night (around 10:00) and were pretty tired. She said that they would definitely take care of the things I had pointed out and make sure the room was in good shape for my next visit - as if I was going to visit them on my next trip and would want to stay in that very same room!! Made me feel as if I had paid a fortune to inspect the room and share the findings with the hotel. Would not recommend this to anyone else and would never stay in this hotel chain. There are a lot of better places that provide much better service/ quality for the price you pay here. Mehr

we were on our honeymoon and spending one night before catching a cruise. . nice area around the hotel but was not like we saw in pictures. we got a room at the back side of the hotel (the older buiding) and it did not meet "sheraton" standards for us. i would not return

Hotel is fine! But we really missed a refrigerator in our room. Parking is pretty expensive. But you are right on the beach and it's only 1 min to the shops with the car.

Nice hotel in nice location. Beautiful beach and view from our veranda. Van to cruise port for a fee was convenient.

This was the most disappointing hotel i have ever stayed in and the cleanliness was appalling.... We had cockroaches in the room and the whole stay was very disappointing.

My wife and I stayed at the Yankee Clipper during our honeymoon 46 years ago and wanted to go back while we were traveling in FL. We didn't expect it to be the same and it wasn't. We were a little disappointed in the following: our room was small and there was no, I mean, NO room in the bathroom, although on the ocean side our room was so low (2nd FL) […] we were blocked by palm trees from seeing the ocean well, the Wreck Bar was closed while we were there and we weren't told, no decent places to eat in the hotel and our bed had the wrong sheets on it the first night and kept coming undone. The staff was very nice and helpful. Maybe they are right, "you can't go back." Mehr

Excellent very well appinted hotel right on the beach. Brilliant facilities with two swimming pools etc. Only restruant in hotel serves Mexican food which is below standard

Great location. Awesome private beach & walking distance to all the fun bars & shopping. Hotel was a little expensive for food & snacks but very friendly & clean. Will definitely be back!

We were very pleased with our recent stay. Everyone at the hotel could not have been more friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again.

Decent hotel, good location. Be sure to ask for a room "inside" the rooms that face the courtyard are very damp. be sure to include the $20 per day for parking when considering this hotel.

We booked this hotel for our anniversary thinking it would be a beautiful hotel. The lobby and restaurants were beautiful but the rooms were old decor the walls felt like you were on a porch. We paid extra for a deluxe king oceanview balcony room the room was extremely small and all we saw for a view were mangroves, we couldn't see the ocean at all. […] It was a big disappointment for our anniversary. It was just perfect. My dog is part of the family & we were together. Location was walking distance to the sand. Pool over looks the ocean. Beach bar was playing good music. Just a lovely experience !!

The room was nice, but the beach tower is missing any cover to walk from the building to the main building. I stayed during a storm and the wind and rain got me soaked walking to get some food. There is nothing in the Beach Tower building to eat or entertain if it's raining. Overall, it is a nice hotel on the beach.
