We stayed a couple nights and had nothing to complain. We were out and about a lot and therefore cannot say anything about the bar, pool, gym etc., but the room and service were great!

"Could not modify reservation to leave early"
During our stay at this hotel, we decided to go home a couple days early. As we found out from the clerk, it would be up to hotels.com to give us a refund for the last two nights of our stay (for which we were no longer staying). He gave me the 1-800 number to call. Come to find out hotels.com conveniently blames it on the hotel--stating in the fine […] print that "the property does not give refunds once the stay has begun". I find that hard to believe since the night before we tried to leave the night clerk told us it was no problem to check out early, just tell them before checkout time the next morning. That was when she didn't know we had booked through hotels.com. This peeves me because hotels.com makes such a big deal about how "We know plans change...." blah blah, yadda yadda, and then I find out how convenient it is that they charge you in advance and once the money is in their tight fist, they will not refund it, even if you did not stay at the hotel for those nights! And then they blame it on the hotel (and the hotel blames it on them), leaving the customer in the lurch! I will be thinking hard about whether I want to use hotels.com again. When I was booking this stay I could have booked through other sites for a very similar rate (maybe a couple dollars more per night)--it would have been worth it to be able to change plans partway through our stay and get a refund for nights we did not stay. "Extended Stay America, Knoxville West Hills"
We were very pleased with the accomodations and price we received. The hotel staff was friendly and efficient. The computer system at check-in was a little slow. Wake Up Call service is not offered, and we use this service often as we travel. This was the only negative of our stay, however. "Bad experience"
We have stayed at this hotel three previous times. On previous visits they were friendly. On this visit they were very unresponsive to our needs. My wife is disabled and has a problem climbing stairs. We ask to be moved to a second floor room. They told us all of those rooms were reserved. These rooms were empty during the day and some of them were […] empty at night. But regardless of the vacancy, when we asked to be moved to a second floor room, their answer to us was very blunt. They did not even try to accomodate us. They young man we spoke to was rude. This hotel does not have an elevator. We stay at this hotel because it is less than a half mile from our son's house. We will not stay there again. We will stay at another hotel that is several miles away. In addition, this hotel is not a good bargain for the price. Mehr
"Bad Experience"
No elevator, just stairs Room smelled like smoke Dirty foot prints in the shower condoms in the night stand cigarette burns on the bed At that point I left...
"Gross"
We couldn't even tell if this was the front door. There was no real lobby, just a room with a girl at a desk. They first put us in smoking room. Smelled soo awful, whole hallway, but moved us after we refused. The new "non-smoking" room had a plastic bag over the smoke detector and ashes on the window sill. Clean room, convenient location- close to nice restaurants and the University of Tennessee. Easy check in and check out. No problems what-so-ever. Will definitely stay there again.

"Ext Stay - Knoxvile - Ick The Cigarette Smell"
Extended Stay in Knoxville offers good value and is well located (you can even walk to Target and Starbucks, if you like to walk) but the whole place stinks of cigarettes. The stench permeates the lobby, it permeated my no-smoking room, it permeated my no-smoking room's mattress. If this bothers you, don't stay here. If you can live with it, the hotel […] offers good value, the rooms are otherwise clean and well-maintained, and the lobby staff are friendly and competent. Mehr

"Needs Improvement"
The only benefit to this hotel was that the bed was comfy. The hotel staff (which consisted of one person)lacked lots!!!They didn't have any ice machines or any vending areas...So if u stay here and u would like a soda u better buy some at the store b4 checking in...would not recommend this hotel. I guess u get what u pay for!!!

"Good, but..."
The manager Monday night was very nice and helpful. My only problem was when I checked out; a different manager could not print me out a receipt.
