"Zweckmäßiges Motel"

Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle und Kühlschrank standen bereit, auch wenn man nicht alles gleichzeitig nutzen konnte (nur 2 Steckdosen für 3 Stecker). Kaffeefilter mit Pulver sowie Teebeutel waren vorhanden. Was mich störte, waren die Schaumstoff- (heiße Getränke) und Plastikbecher (kalte Getränke) im Zimmer. Ich bevorzuge Mehrweggeschirr. Gleiches gilt fürs Frühstück, auch hier gab es nur Einweggeschirr und Plastikbesteck. Frühstück selbst war nicht umwerfend aber OK, es gab sogar ein Waffeleisen zur Selbstbedienung.

"Hotel Sheraton am Stadtrand von Denver"
Während unseres Aufenthaltes im Juli 2010 fiel leider die Klimaanlage des Zimmers aus. Nach zweimaliger Nachfrage erschien dann ein Servicemitarbeiter der Instandhaltung. Danach lief die Klimaanlage ca. 1Std. und fiel wieder aus. Bei 97 Grad Fahrenheit Außentemperatur und der Möglichkeit das Fenster 10cm weit öffnen zu können, haben wir eine sschlaflose […] Nacht verbracht. Der Service ist also nicht gerade das, was man sich vorstellt. Das Frühstück, dass im Hotel angeboten wird, ist qualitativ eher schlecht. Allerdings kann man abends im Restaurant dafür gut essen. Der Zimmerservice ist nicht zufriedenstellend. Die Betten waren schlampig gemacht. Der Flur hätte wieder einmal einen Staubsauger nötig gehabt. Für 1 oder 2 Nächte kann man es aushalten, länger ist nicht zu empfehlen. Es gibt bessere Hotels in Denver für den gleichen Preis. Man muss eben rechtzeitig buchen. Beim Check-out haben wir nochmals erwähnt, dass die Reparatur der Klimaanlage nicht erfolgreich war. Ob es genutzt hat, wer weiß. MehrAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

"1 night stay March 2013"
It was a very nice hotel, we did find a leak in our sink in the morning but we called the front desk and they started working on it as soon as we checked out. They were very nice and pet friendly! The air-conditioning/heating is so loud it wakes you up at night. Impossible to get the right water temperature in the shower. The Sheraton Denver West has supplementary fans in the heating units of all guest rooms and they do generate air noise. Most of our guests are fine with the sound of the air movement, but a light sleeper can notice the power. We have not recieved comments regarding shower temperature before and can only assume there was difficulty understanding the control valve. We are sorry for the inconvenience. We will pass your comments regarding breakfast to the private owners of the restaurant La Cave. We have never seen them offer anything but the most premium of ingredients; so we are once again confused by your comment. If we earn your business again; please bring any negative comments directly to the hotel team during your stay so that we may immediately change the course of your experience to a positive one. We had a nice mountain view from the 11th floor, but when we walked in the room smelled like cigarette smoke. One of the complimentary water bottles had been opened and a little bit consumed, but it was presented as new--on the tray with the card over the neck of the bottle. We didn't stay long enough to rate room or maid service or use any facilities […] like the fitness center, though we did walk in and it looked nice and clean. Desk service was friendly and professional, the rest of the hotel looked clean and well-maintained. Nothing spectacular, average to slightly above average hotel room. The new restaurant was very expensive and the food and service was awful.! We were on the restaurant for almost 2 hours our food came out cold our appetizers were burnt and with 2 children It's hard on them waiting the pizza for thr kids they wouldn't rat it they really did not like it and the mac and cheese was very dry. In the room the hot water in […] thr tub did not get hot do kids had to shower and even then the shower was not very warm. The new restaurant (La Cave) is a privately owned business with experienced restaurateurs that have a passion for excellence. We have never had an issue with guest room water temperature. The hot pool is not a Jacuzzi and was not designed to provide jetted air bubbles. We will wish these guests better experiences elsewhere.

"Perfect location all we do"
Stay was over all great. Restaurant had just opened and Breakfast Buffet was not that good. We did not get there until 10am and cold and hard food. It was just not that fresh ( first day opening). But we will be back.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

I visited this last weekend and the staff was more than accommodating during my stay. Room service was perfect. I felt like I got more than my money's worth. "hotel expectations"
I booked this hotel with the expectation that there was transportation to the Broncos stadium, which I confirmed several times over the phone per the reservationist. Much to my dismay, upon arrival I notified the front desk i would need transporation the next day to the game, and was told they did not offer this. I will not stay here again, as the staff […] are unaware of what they offer and do not offer. I confirmed this several times over the phone before securing the reservation. I ended up paying $30 to park and had to leave 5 hours before the game to secure a parking space. The hotel was nice, but the overall operation of the system information was not well informed. Antwort von Sheraton Denver West Hotel and Conference Center Our hotel cannot offer shuttle service to Mile High stadium (traffic in that area would make the trips take too long and then the shuttle couldn't be used by other guests), but we are delighted to say that the brand new W line of RTD's light rail will open April 26th of 2013!!! This light rail will go from our back yard directly to Mile High Stadium!

The owners of La Cave restaurant offer oatmeal on their buffet daily (it's in the pot at the far right of the buffet and might not have been seen). It's delicious and they use a steel cut oatmeal so it has a great consisentency! I know that they offer flavored yogurts, but I'll ask if they can feature plain as well. "Worst night ever at a hotel."
There was a wedding party the same night of our stay. The hotel interspersed the wedding party guests with families staying there as well. It was the worst night in hotel I have ever experienced. There were obnoxious guests that were screaming and banging on doors all night long until 3:30 a.m. when the police were finally called. My repeated calls […] to the front desk were ignored. I spoke with several other guests the next morning, all of whom had the same, dreadful experience. I will never stay at this hotel ever again and I plan to write about my experience at every oppotruntiy I have. To add insult to injury the staff was not at all apologetic upon checking out and said they could not do anything to make up for my stay since I had booked through Expedia.
