Alles Bestens!!! Ich bekam erfreulicherweise ein Upgrade und durfte so ein KingSizeBed genießen. Jederzeit würde ich wieder in diesem Hotel bleiben! Das einzige Manko war, dass man die Bahn schon immer beim Vorbeifahren hören konnte, was ich persönlich aber überhaupt nicht als störend empfunden habe. Übernachtet man im Loop, gehört das fast dazu, will ich meinen ;)!!

Sehr zentral gelegenes, traditionelles Hotel. Insgesamt macht es einen etwas abgenutzten Eindruck. Ordentliche, saubere Zimmer. Das Bad ist etwas eng. Zimmer auf der Seeseite mit wunderbarem Blick über Parkanlagen und Lake Michigan. Restaurantangebot (Frühstück) qualitativ gut, aber relativ teuer. Check-In/Check-Out schnell und ohne Probleme.

Dieses Hotel ist auf Geschäftsreisende ausgerichtet. Hotel Allegro, a Kimpton Hotel liegt mitten in Chicago. Einzelzimmer sehr gross für amerikanische Verhältnisse.

Das Preis-Lleistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut! und das Hotelpersonal sehr aufmerksam. Das Hotel verfügt über ein modernes Fitnessstudio und gratis Wireless Internet, was man in teureren Hotels zum Teil sogar bezahlen muss. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und verfügten über alles was es braucht.

We enjoyed our stay as the staff was extremely accommodating, the rate was fair and the fun kid's gifts were a treat. Very convenient to the theater district, a short walk to shopping and a 20 minute walk to Millenium Park and ice skating. Parking as usual in the downtown area is a rip-off, so if you can train it, cab it or bus it, you can save $$$ […] . Mehr
"After Thoughts"
Loved the convenience and accessability to all main attractions,theaters,shopping and great restaurants. We really enjoyed the restaurant in the hotel and were able to walk to several in the immediate vaccinity. Would not hesitate to revisit this hotel.
The hotel was beautiful, but I was disappointed in the size. Very small and it didn't look that way in the photos.
We have family in Chicago who all live in the city. Therefore, the Allegro hotel is very convenient. Furthermore, we love the hotel. It is always our first choice!

"Fun and Elegant"
Super fun and elegant place to stay... Short cab ride (in the winter) and nice walks (in the summer) to great city attractions. Will stay again...

"Kudos!!"
The Hotel Allegro is one of my very favorites in Chicago!! It is so conveniently located to the theatres, to shopping, and to the German Christmas Market which I attend every year. The staff is friendly and helpful! The Happy Hour which they have every day at 5 pm is a great treat!! When traveling to Chicago, it will always be my first choice!!

If you like the funky hotel experience, you'll love the Hotel Allegro. Great wine hour, wonderful location and very helpful and warm staff. Who knew we'd need an umbrella in December--but the Allegro staff to the rescue. It's not a super posh room, but the experience itself is so warm and welcoming!

"Clean, pleasant staff"
We stayed at the Allegro because it is in the theater district and was a great price. Overall, I'd say it was an excellent hotel for the price. The decor was fresh, clean, and interesting. The rooms are small but exceptionally clean. It's an easy walk to theaters and shopping. The dining options near the hotel are limited to high end fare and lunch/fast […] food, which was somewhat disappointing. The wine reception offered by the hotel every evening was pleasant (and they have a local beer on offer if you don't like wine), though the wine was not very good. This hotel is located next to the loop , easy access to the airport taking the blue line and no need to exchange trains. We walked everywhere from here and the hotel has great decor plus a nice wine happy hour everyday for free.

Excellent stay at this Kempton. Loved the location. Note: Being from another city I was slightly disappointed as to getting help for methods for getting from hotel to restaurant to United Center.

This hotel is ancient but decorated in a rather trendy style. Room was comfortable and it was a nice luxury that the tub of the shower was much bigger than ours at home. It was a little irritating to find out belatedly that there is local overnight parking for 1/4 as much as what the hotel charges, but we appreciated the in and out privileges of the […] hotel parking. Great hotel at a great price -- really nice feel and friendly staff -- nice happy hour included and room was clean, had plenty of sockets for all elecronics with a very comfortable bed

Rooms ARE small, but they are nice and the staff was very friendly. Kind of a younger crowd here, great location in the loop. Might be a tad overpriced, but it's Chicago.

We stayed here on New Year's Eve and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was more than accomodating, the atmosphere of the hotel was beautiful & the room was spotless! Would recommend to anyone!!

"Great Hotel with SMALL rooms"
The deal was great and the location awesome with the Red Line just down the road. The only complaint is the small room and extremely small bathroom. I could stand in the middle of the bathroom and stretch-out both hands and touch (including shower/bath). This was fine because I was alone but for a couple this room would be hard for both to move around […] at the same time. Otherwise, I loved the hotel and the free Internet was great once you joined the InTouch rewards program for Kimpton Hotels. Mehr

Room was small but we didn't need a whole bunch of empty unused space.Bathroom is tiny but it's not cramped and uncomfortable.We did have an issue with some dogs barking down the hall from us,but my boyfriend called the front desk and they had security on the floor within a few minutes and the issue was resolved promptly,which I appreciate. We ordered […] room service food,our dinner arrived within about a half hour of ordering and was delicious.Server was very courteous.However,the following morning our breakfast was brought to us without a few of the essentials (cream,toast) that were supposed to come with our meals.The latest server was not even apologetic when we had to call the desk for our missing items which we had to wait for and let our food get cold.Other than that,I rather enjoyed my stay there. I highly recommend the Allegro, we stay in hotels about once a month and I'd say the Allegro is in the top 5 overall. The suites have amazing two person bathtubs, the decor is beautiful, the hosted wine reception was fun and all of the staff we're amazingly accommodating. I'd definitely return!
Wow! Love the fact that we made your romantic weekend so special. If you ever need one closer to home be sure to checkout the 3 Kimpton's in Seattle. Vintage Park is a personal favorite. Hope to see you in Chicago soon.

"The Hotel Allegro in Chicago - FANTASTIC!!"
My husband is a Capt. with Air Canada and has stayed at the Allegro as crew in the past which is why we stayed there. However as his wife of 36 years, it was my first time to Chicago and the Allegro. The staff were exemplary , courteous, friendly and accommodating. They readily facilitated getting tickets for us at the House of Blues Gospel Brunch […] as well as a late check out. Our room was clean and comfortable. We found the location perfect! Thank-you all at the Hotel Allegro! We will definately be back and will recommend you to our many friends who travel! Mehr

Hotel staff a little snooty if you go thru this website. They gave me a hard time paying with a debit card and double charged me... outherwise great staff away from the front desk and beautiful hotel.
