"Als Golfsport schön und gut"Bewertet von W aus "Mullheim, Dtld." am 11. Apr. 2012
Habe Hotel wg Golf gebucht.

I had to check in through a small opening in a window rather than inside the lobby. Two men stood in the parking lot in front of my room smoking what smelled like an illegal substance from a pipe watching what I brought into my room. They were staying in the room next to mine! The carpet felt sticky and looked like it hadn't been shampooed in a very […] long time. There was black slimy mold beneath the non-skid mat in the bathtub. The baseboards and corners were caked with grime. There were cigarette burns on the sink and the bathroom reeked of stale cigarette smoke in my non-smoking room. On Saturday night several scantily clad "ladies" went upstairs to the rooms above mine. I had a hard time sleeping for the loud music, shouting and stomping going on above me. The payment for my room was non-refundable and I couldn't afford another room so I stayed, but did not feel safe. I've stayed at Days Inns before, but I won't make that mistake again. Mehr
"Days Inn in La Mesa, SDSU"
This is a place I will not ever stay again. My two teenage sons and I went down to San Diego to look at the SDSU campus for my older son who had been admitted to the college. When we got to the Days Inn the first thing I saw was a hand written note on the door that said there was not phone services from the room phones, so if you needed anything you […] had to walk to the lobby to ask if they even had it. Some guy how looked very unstable kept walking up and down the outside halls asking people if he could use their cell phone. When I asked for extra towels I got bath mats after I went down twice to ask for them and when the lobby person finally said he would get them he had to lock the lobby which was locked at night and you had to communicate through a slot on the outside of the side of the lobby. Extremey small pull out couch not big enough for a grown person had stains on it and when opened there was stuff on it. Then there was a trail of blood from the lower level outside walk way directly leading to the lobby door which was very concerning and never cleaned up. My boys and I slept with one eye open the whole night after seeing that. I could go on, lets just say my son did not choose SDSU and don't stay there! Mehr
"very nice for the price"
very nice hotel suite. clean bathrooms. livingroom area and dining area. bedroom very nice. comfortable beds. nice fluffy pillows. large closet. very nice for long stays.
The price for the room was great. What was horrible was that it was dirty very dusty the bathroom was disgusting the floor seemed that it hadn't been swept or even mopped in days or weeks the thikness of the dirt in the restroom resembled months of no cleaning. The towel I grabbed after I finished taking a shower had hair in them that grossed me out […] the most. Then I noticed all the towels had hair in them. I forgot to mention, when we checked in at 3pm the front desk guy stated "sorry I can't register you I already signed out, just wait about 10- to 15 minutes for the guy that runs the next shift to check you in. I know it's stupid schedule but thats how they have us sheduled." Mehr
"Good but the breakfast was scant."
They hardly had anything for breakfast, and one of the reasons I booked there was for free breakfast.
"Wet floor leaky ceiling"
As I arrived, a guest was frantically trying to find a different hotel in the lobby. He was not pleased. I was assigned my room and found it with he door wide open! The ceiling leaked, making the carpet wet, it also soaked the roll of toilet paper and there was no replacement. The neighborhood is kind of sketchy - liquor stores, upholstry shops, check […] cashing...not a place you'd want to walk at night. Good points: Comfortable beds/pillows, furnishings all fine, clean. "Days Inn La Mesa - San Diego - SDSU"
Started by having to argue with front desk about whether or not I had two rooms booked or one. Next our rooms weren't read and it was 4:00pm (check in was at 2:00pm). When they were ready, the toilet seat was off the toilet in one room, there was no remote control for the TV in the other room. The phone didn't work in one room, and neither room had […] regular coffee, only decaf. Everything about the place screamed, "Hey, we're trying to cut our costs at the guest's expense." Lousy experience. Mehr
"Desk staff not customer oriented"
This Days Inn is perfectly fine for a mid-range motel. Clean and perfectly average. It is, however, in the suburbs of San Diego (where I needed to be the weekend I stayed there), and therefore not in high demand, so I was surprised when the desk attendant refused to give me a late check out as a courtesy. If the motel was fully booked, I could understand, […] but I went online just to check and it was not. So the customer service is somewhat lacking. And my non-smoking room reeked of old stale cigarette smoke. Then the house keeping staff forgot to put pillow cases on the pillows when they changed the room before I checked in. So the details are missing, but it was a place to lay my head, so it did its job. Mehr
"Absolutely Awful"
Half of the lights worked in the hotel room, bathroom was disgraceful. The toilet ran all night and when I went to fix it I cockroach ran across the bathroom mirror. The comforter on the bed looked as if it had been produced in 1965 and has been washed 4 million times. Oh, there is a free continental breakfast, but remember what I said about the cockroach? […] You want a free continental breakfast when cockroaches are present? Mehr
"Great Night"
The hotel is location was perfect. Continential breakfast was very good, and the rooms were very nice and spacious.
