I was surprised by the lack of upkeep in this "Beverly Hills" hotel. The towels were like the thin hard ones from sleepaway camp, the internet slow to a crawl (at 2am!), and the rooms, as if they have not been updated since 1962. The worst part was how my room, and hallway reeked of bacon at 5:30 in the morning.

If you are planning on renting a car and staying at the Crowne Plaza Beverly Hills please be ready to pay $20.00 a day to park it at the hotel. If you try to avoid this ridiculus charge and park on the street you will most likely receive a parking ticket. If I was aware of this fee I would not have stayed at the hotel. The hotel sheets had stains (they were washed but still had stains) and when I tried to shower the water was cold so I had to call the concierge to send someone up to fix it. It took them about 20 minutes to come up and another 20 to fix the problem then the matinence worker actually had the odacity to stand around waiting for a tip. The maids are very loud in the morning and even though I had my do not desturb sign on my door and am a heavy sleeper I was still woken up in the morning by their conversations and laughter.

This hotel was okay for the money I spent - it was close to my office, easy to get to, but there were just a few things that were a little off. 1) Wireless never worked - I was only there for one night, but wireless in the rooms was one of the main reasons I stayed there. 2) The bathroom was small and there was mold in the corners of the shower/tub. 3) The Business Services office was pretty tiny - 2 computers only and they were always booked (probably because the wireless in the rooms never worked). I wouldn't recommend it for business travelers but as a basic hotel for tourists it would be okay.

Great Hotel and good location. I attended a conference at UCLA, and even though it was a couple of miles away, it was still very convenient. Marco

Hotel was very loud, front desk staff was nice. Hotel was very run down, tried to make it over with nice sheets and big flat screen TV's. Bathrooms in serious need of renovation. Marriot Residence Inn accross the street was a much nicer place to stay.

We needed a reasonable priced hotel in the Beverly Hills area. The Crowne Plaza Hotel fitted our needs. We were very happy with our room and the housekeeping staff did a superb job. We ate breakfast in the hotel's restaurant. The food was good and priced accordingly. There are a number of restaurants in the area that we had dinner and they were ok. The only complaint was the parking fee of $25 per night. We were not aware of the high fees and realizing after one night of parking of the cost we forfeited the use of a car. I would have liked to know beforehand that there were parking fees.

Great Room and Service for the Price!

1) No movie channels, and missing key channels like CNN for the duration of my father's stay. 2) Internet did not work. 3) Asked them to clean the room while we were in the lobby for 1.5 hrs, and they did not.

I booked several rooms at the Crowne Plaza Beverly Hills for out-of-town guests who were in LA to celebrate my birthday with me. My parents had stayed there once previously and raved about how comfortable the beds were but I hadn't actually set foot on the property until this past weekend. I have had the pleasure of staying at 5 Star hotels around the world and can honestly say that the level of service at the Crowne Plaza Beverly Hills is right up there with the best of them. Rarely have I seen the kind of enthusiasm and sincere eagerness to please. My guess is that the management is doing a fantastic job because everyone from the doorman / valet to the front desk staff were eminently friendly, polite and professional! Very much looking forward to sending lots more business their way.

Access to the internet was not functioning properly, but was repaired through a call to a maintenance number provided. Restaurant personnel, including management were eating when I went to breakfast giving the impression of the customer's needs are secondary Parking was expensive and seemed a way to offset a nominally moderately favorable price

Room was dated and in need of upgrading. Furnishing worn and soiled.

The room was comfortable and I had an outstanding view, but try as this hotel did, for 4 days I had no internet.....forcing me to use the Starbucks 4 blocks away (and to drive there). They use ZNet as a wireless service provider, and I spent at least an hour during 4 separate phone calls trying to remedy the problem, but I was told I was just "too far from the hub".....inexcusable! To add insult to injury, the hotel signed for, and then misplaced a very important Fed Ex overnighted package. I had to drive clear downtown to pick up another copy of said documents, only to find out later that it was at my hotel all along....but they just couldn't remember what they did with it. When the bill came, it had lounge charges ( I never stepped foot in their lounge).....someone else had used my room #, and mini-bar charges (there is no mini-bar in this hotel. The bill had to be re-done at the desk as I was checking out. To be fair, they comped me on my $80 parking bill, but all in all, this was not a great experience....and I wouldn't stay again, as having internet access is critical to my being able to work....and I was there on business.

the staff was nice but parking is 20.00 a night which seems high you also have to walk outside to get to the hotel from the parking. The bathroom was a about a foot from the bed which made the room seem cramped.

Given how expensive hotels in LA can be, this is a good value. No fancy gift shop...rooms were on par with other crowne plaza rooms...hallways a little drab but certainly acceptable.

This is a great value for the location. Clean rooms and nice hotel.

very cute hotel. Very close to some good shopping...just went with my mom and sister and it was great!

Der var pænt og rent, men lidt mørk t og dystert. I receptionen var de ikke specielt hjælpsomme. Det ligger rimelig centralt, men der var lidt vej til nogen busser. Der var gode busforbindelser til Santa Monica Beach, da bussen holdt lige uden for døren.

bon 3/4 étoiles; un peu en dessous d'un Marriot mais avec vrai breakfast. j'ai du insister pour faire valoir que le breakfast était compris. parking 20 dollars/nuit
