Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 29. Jan. 2013Beurteilung immer in Abhängigkeit des Preises: Sauberkeit i.O., bei genauen hinsehen Staub, Kratzer und Abnutzung obwohl das Hotel relativ neu. Ausstattung nur zum Teil nutzbar wie z.B. Fernseher im Spiegel ohne Funktion (warum baut man dann sowas), Fehler konnte nicht behoben werden. Dusche war eher ein Rinnsal. Servicequalität: Kredit Karte ist bei CheckIn immer Pflicht, Hinweis das Kosten bei Abreise Cash bezahlt werden wurde "vergessen". Aber - Blick toll, Lage für die Innenstadt toll, freundliche Dienstleister, gute Organisation.

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 6. Jan. 2013Das Hotel macht schon von aussen einen guten Eindruck. Es befindet sich zwar an einem Hwy, doch davon bekommt man drinnen nichts mit. Die Zimmer waren mit allem ausgestattet was man für eine Übernachtung nach einem langen Flug braucht, vor allem aber waren sie sauber und ruhig. Weder am Abendessen, noch am Frühstück gab es irgendetwas auszusetzen. Wir hatten keine großen Erwartungen an das Hotel, dafür wurden wir positiv überrascht.

It has everything you'd need - proximity to several great restaurants; relatively close to the airports; plenty to do and see at the Galleria mall; spacious, clean rooms; and comfortable beds. Had a good time however there was confusion on my part regarding breakfast. As part of my package breakfast was included, so we ordered room service to deliver breakfast. The hotel room was so much nicer and updated than I expected. Hugely comfortable beds. Interesting layout with a built in closed cabinet against the spacious window which held the ice bucket and tray, coffee maker, multiple drawers, and a safe. "Really Great Hotel With the Exception of One Thing"
Overall the experience was great and room was clean, and having the mall next door as well as lots of dining options is VERY convenient. Only thing is the first room I was sent to smelled really bad. I asked to be moved and was immediately accommodated, which I really appreciate, so bonus points for that. However, the second room still kind of smelled […] similarly bad (though not as pungent fortunately). I'm not sure if it's the cleaning solution they use or something, but it really is very unpleasant, especially when you first enter the room. It's unpleasant to the extent that if I were to know that's how all the rooms smell, I would probably choose a different hotel next time (I hope that's not the case, because I really do like this hotel). After reading some other reviews I was a little worried about actually getting there, we drove and got in earlier than expected and early check in was no problem, parking was available, checked right in and our room was nice, I did get a view of the mall roof, but it wasnt terrible. "Perfect Hotel for every thing"
This was my first stay at the Westin and the hotel lived up to its name. I booked this trip for a two day shopping trip with my wife. We stayed at the Westin on the second night. The hotel has an inviting smell. The desk attendant upgraded us to a Starwood Preferred Guest. My wife was very impressed and said we should have stayed there both nights. […] This hotel has everything you need if not in the hotel itself it will be very close. Bottom line this is a very nice hotel. Only negative parking is slim or expensive. I love many things about the Westin including their great customer sevice and the comfy beds and the large size of the room. There is good storage and it's wonderful to be able to just walk into the Galleria to shop which is what we were there for. However if I have a complaint it is the shower. Although it has the double shower heads which was nice […] the hot and cold water went in and out and you had to just keep adjusting it throughout the shower. I also think there should be some restaurant in the hotel that serves breakfast besides room service, we were able to walk out to the mall and go to Starbucks for coffee at 7 but even the Corner Bakery out there did not open until 8 for food which is unfortunate.
