Es ist wirklich so schön, wie sie beschreiben. Die grosszügige und einladende Lobby in der ersten Etage diente u.a. dem Weinempfang aller an diesem Tag anreisenden Gäste. Allerdings scheint die Zeit auf 17 bis 18 Uhr begrenzt zu sein. Eher als Ausnahme bekam ich später noch einen Gutschein für die Bar, die nicht ganz so nett ist, wie die Lobby. Beim Frühstück im benachbarten Bistro muss man wissen, was man wählt, um nicht vom Amerikanischen Geschmack überrascht zu werden.

Zu unserer Ueberraschung war alles viel kleiner, als es in den Bildern erscheint. Der Fotograf hat einen super Job gemacht. Dennoch ist das Hotel eine sehr gute Wahl. Allerdings hatten wir eine Suite. Wir haben das Zimmer-Service-Fruehstueck nie genutzt, da es genug guenstige und gute Alternativen in der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt.

Es wäre prima, wenn die (Einzel)zimmer besser beleuchtet wären, zum Beispiel mit einer Leselampe.
"Westin O'Hare"
We wanted to spend 2 days in Chicago but not break the bank. We chose the Westin O'Hare since it is literally across the street from the EL Blue Line station. This location was also about $100 less expensive than the Downtown Chicago location. Saved money and had a lovely stay.
Nice place but not sure it is worth the premium price you pay. Never got the wireless internet to work. Booked room for four but was charged a premium for each additonal person over two. Still had to "pull teeth" to get the additional towels and coffee for the other two people. Have to pay for parking too. Very nice employess and within easy walking […] distance of Metro station. "Bad Experiance"
This is the worst experiance I have ever had with a hotel. I would not recommend staying here to my dog.
"Westin O'Hare in Rosemont - nice and relaxing"
Very nice hotel. Comfortable atmophere, a couple computers for internet access, and nice view. Our refrigerator didnt work for some reason and couldn't be replaced at the time. Other than this, it was a very pleasant stay.

"Nothing Special"
I would not recommend staying at the Westin O'Hare. When we arrived we were immediately swamped by a conference going on at the hotel, and could hardly find the front desk. The receptionist was not familiar with the room package we had purchased. I ended up getting charged an extra $50 for something (when I called to have it taken off this morning, […] the "computers were down" so I have to call back later today). The restaurant was overpriced, even for hotel food. The parking we had prepaid was apparantly free. The outside deck by the pool was an uneven concrete rooftop overlooking the highway with 3 lounge chairs on it. Calling this a four-star hotel is defeinitely a stretch. Mehr
"THE BEST HOTEL IN O'HARE"
the service from when i checked in was superb, the concierge named mike was friendly and helpful.The business center was free and so was the airport shuttle. my wife and i had lunch at the restaurant it was heavenly. i recommend this hotel anyday.

"Great room for the money"
This room was a great deal because it included parking, breakfast buffet and internet in the room. It was very comfortable, great atmosphere and the people who worked there had been there for a long time and were very friendly!! The hotel was very close to the train station. We would recommend it to anyone.
"Nice Stay"
The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff was helpful and nice. I would stay here again most definately.

"It has it's pros and con's"
I got most annoyed with the internet - the fact that I had to pay for it and it was very poor signal. Also, there are very few channels available on the tv beyond espn, news, and Hbo/Hbo2. But the service was very nice and I had a delicious steak dinner there :) So overall my experience was okay.

2nd time staying at the Westin. Great service and amazingly comfortable bed.
"Good Hotel but poor WiFi"
This is a very nice hotel and convenient to the Blue Line. BUT the WiFi in the room is very difficult to get to talk to you - very poor connectivity and when you finally get on they want $10 a day to use it. Also I had a room that would sleep 4 people and they left enough coffee for one cup! Actually that is not true they left a one cup packet of regular […] and a one cup packet of decaffinated. Mehr

"Good Value"
Not as elegant as most Westin's I have stayed in, but not bad for the price I paid.
"Parking rip-off"
Unadvertised parking fee that is very, very high for the area (lots of hotels near O'Hare have free parking). Then, when we are in a hurry to get out and catch our flight, the parking lot attendant refuses to accept the stamped ticket to exit, and we have to pay AGAIN. No time to argue with the attendant, get the manager, etc. We just have to suck […] it up and pay AGAIN. Needless to say, strongly recommend avoiding the Westin O'Hare. Mehr
"Good hotel for money paid"
The hotel was nice, but the hallways smelled. The supposed free shuttle was available, but driver seemed to busy to give rides and made it seem like a hassle.
"family friendly (if you are driving)"
I stayed with my family (2 kids), we enjoyed the pool, driving back and forth to the city was not too bad on the weekend. Only one restaurant outside within walking distance, no problems if you are driving.We booked a great deal that included breakfast and parking, that simplified everything.Would recommend.
"Poor Service"
This hotel has cut staff so significantly that services of appaulingly slow. Long waits to check in, lunch and dinner and in the Lounge. No apologies were given. Avoid this hotel the cab driver says that people always complain.
"Wonderful stay"
We had a wonderful stay. The bell staff were exceedingly helpful and polite. The breakfast selection was great and staff very accommodating. I wish we could have worked out extending our stay.

Hotellet holder bra standard. Vi var svært fornøyd med vårt opphold her.Rommene holder bra standard. Det passer svært godt som utgangspunkt dersom du skal på konferanse eller delta på arrangement på Donald Stephens conference senter. Det går shuttle både til konferansesenter og flyplassen. Service ved indtjekning ikke OK. Værelset ikke checket inden - én havde siddet på sengen, og insekter i badekaret. Maden i restauranten var ikke god. Kommer der ikke igen.
